Light-curing: Excellent curing performance through ceramics
Depending on the material thickness, shade and opacity of an indirect restoration, the amount of light reaching the luting composite can be significantly reduced. You should therefore make certain that the light unit emits a sufficiently high light intensity when curing through indirect restorations in particular. This is essential to ensure that an adequate amount of light passes through the crown or inlay to reach the luting composite and attain an adequate cure in the light- or dual-curing composite.
Maximum performance at short curing times
Bluephase Style 20i offers you a suitable solution for these situations. The high-performance cordless device combines a maximum light output with extremely short curing times. In addition, the light is equipped with the polywave technology of the current third LED generation, and as a result is capable of polymerizing all light-curing dental materials in the wavelength range from 385 to 515 nm.
Especially suitable for indirect restorations
Bluephase Style 20i delivers a high light intensity of up to 2,000 mW/cm2 if used in the Turbo mode. This is especially advantageous when polymerizing indirect restorations, as pointed out above. In addition, the light’s highly effective energy transmission allows extremely short curing times of 5 seconds or longer. In this way, Bluephase Style 20i supports time-efficient and therefore economically effective work routines. Depending on the indication, you can switch quickly and easily between four different curing times and two curing modes (High Power with 1,200 mW/cm2 and Turbo with 2,000 mW/cm2) using only one hand.
