The press technique: How to work more efficiently and reliably!
Would you like to work more efficiently and reliably using the press technique? Have you ever considered a combination of press technique and CAD/CAM technology? Be open to new techniques - and enjoy the advantages!
Greater reliability due to the digital support
Digitalization does not stop at the press technique either. And that’s a good thing. If you use the digital possibilities available, you stand to gain more than just producing your restoration efficiently. It also provides a higher level of reliability for your results.
Specific example: new add-on “Wax Tree”
An actual example: With the new software add-on "Digital Press Design - Wax Tree", you can produce press-ready wax trees for the IPS e.max press technique. Easy, quick and economical. The new software add-on allows you to combine several press objects onto one wax tree. As a result, the spruing process is considerably reduced; you work more efficiently. The sprues are automatically positioned on the press objects and aligned according to the instructions in the IPS Sprue Guide. This increases safety and the quality of the entire pressing process. Gone are the days when you had to attach the sprues by hand and possibly connect to the wrong area. Be on the safe side!
Individual corrections are still possible
Incidentally, when using the new add-on, you also have the possibility of correcting the sprue position and the length individually. In other words: Digital technology gives you a helping hand. Without tying your hands.
Open for many users
The wax trees can be produced on a 3D printer and are subsequently transferred to the press process. The wax tree output format is an open STL format. Therefore, all conventional 3D printers can be used in combination with a burn-out material suitable for the IPS e.max press technique.
Flexible use
The software “Digital Press Design-Wax Tree” is based on the CAM software “CAMbridgeTM” by 3Shape. This is available as an Add-on for Wieland customers. All non-Wieland customers who own a 3Shape dental system can use the software via a so-called "second dongle".
Conclusion: Proven and new united
The new wax tree function "Wax Tree" brings together modern 3D printing technology and the proven press technology - to enable you to produce pressed restorations even more efficiently and reliably.
